Bluetooth 6.0 Launched With ‘True Distance Awareness’ Channel Sounding: The Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), the governing body of Bluetooth technology, disclosed the new Bluetooth Core Specification 6 on Tuesday. This starts from 0, which is on location tracking precision and privacy.

Bluetooth Launched With ‘True Distance Awareness’ Channel Sounding

PBR, as described by the Bluetooth SIG, considers the distance between the two Bluetooth devices as the number of wave cycles in which the signal sent from the transmitter is received and is shielded to an area of approximately 150 meters (around 500 feet) before the problems begin creeping in. RTT, on the other hand, does it in time and, although it is not that precise, can work together with PBR to enhance the distance, which can be measured up to.
Bluetooth 6 states Bluetooth Channel Sounding as a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) implementation feature — which has to be implemented on both devices. adjustments to the Isochronous Adaptation Layer (ISOAL) to limit delay, enabling devices to disseminate the kinds of extended link-layer features they can support, and adjustable frame spacing, which replaced the 150µs constant frame spacing distance.
